Supervised Visitation
A place for safe exchanges and supervised visits. The program ensures that children can have safe, conflict-free access to parents and caregivers with whom they do not reside. Children who need these services may live with a parent who is in conflict with the other, in foster care, or with a relative. The program is designed using the best practice standards developed by the National Supervised Visitation Network (SVN) Visits are held in both Rowan and Cabarrus county on Saturdays and Sundays. Located at the Rowan County Courthouse. It provides a safe, nurturing and playful environment for children while parents or other caregivers conduct business in the courthouse. The center is available during court hours Monday – Friday. There is no fee for this service. Contact Rhonda Sturdivant for more information.
